Why Rave Restaurant Group cut ties with Uber Eats
Rave Restaurant Group, owner of Pizza Inn and Pie Five, canceled its partnership with Uber Eats after the delivery platform unilaterally increased its marketplace fees. CEO Brandon Solano stated that the price hike was poorly timed and would leave restaurant operators with little to no profit from delivery transactions. Rave Restaurant Group plans to focus on dine-in experiences, value offerings, and direct ordering, having already seen consistent profitability and growth in these areas.
