Incyte Corp. (INCY) is advancing two cancer treatments, INCB161734 and INCA33890, into late-stage trials after early results showed promising responses in pancreatic and colorectal cancers. INCB161734, combined with chemotherapy, showed high response rates in pancreatic cancer, while INCA33890 demonstrated activity in colorectal cancer. The company plans Phase 3 trials with topline results expected in 2028 and 2029, respectively.

Incyte Corp. sued Granules India Ltd. for allegedly infringing five patents related to its blood cancer drug Jakafi XR. Incyte claims Granules filed an FDA application to sell a generic version before its patents expire. The case was filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Incyte secured an interim injunction in India against Melody Healthcare regarding its ruxolitinib patent, just 11 weeks before the patent's expiration. The Delhi High Court ruled in favor of interim protection due to the patent's remaining validity and lack of competing commercial launch. According to the court, this ruling highlights the availability of interim protection against threatened infringement before a rival's commercial launch.

Incyte (INCY) will present new data on its hematology portfolio at ASH 2026, including updates on INCA033989 for myelofibrosis and essential thrombocythemia, and latarcibart for von Willebrand disease. Over 30 abstracts will be shared, with an investor event scheduled for December 12, 2026.

A phase 3 study found that ruxolitinib cream was well tolerated and maintained disease control in children aged 2-11 with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (AD) over 44 weeks. The study, funded by Incyte Corporation, showed 79.5% of children on 0.75% strength and 72.3% on 1.5% had clear or almost clear skin at week 52. Common side effects included upper respiratory tract infection and neutropenia. The authors suggest ruxolitinib cream as a potential corticosteroid-free treatment option for AD.
