IperionX secures second U.S. Army task order for domestic titanium production

Iperionx Ltd. [IPX] began commercial titanium production, expanded capacity, and secured U.S. government contracts. The company reported a net loss of $66.8M, attributing it to ramp-up costs, but highlighted strong funding and project economics for future growth.

The US Army awarded IPX a $99M contract for domestic titanium production. IPX aims to scale the technology for broader applications.

IperionX Limited (NASDAQ: IPX) said it plans to redomicile its ultimate parent to Texas, subject to approvals, and expects the new U.S. parent’s common stock to list directly on Nasdaq, replacing its ADS structure. The company also appointed Michael J. Loparco as an independent non-executive director effective Aug. 3, 2026.

Avingtrans (AVG) raised about £21m via a placing of 3,309,000 new shares at 630p each, according to Yahoo Finance. The funds support expansion at its Michigan nuclear facility. Nuclear revenues are about £35m, with a target of about £90m by 2031. Shares rose 4.76% to 660p.

IperionX raised about $50 million via a public offering, selling 2.275 million shares at $21.98 each, to expand U.S. titanium manufacturing. The company plans to increase capacity in Virginia, continue its Tennessee Camden Titanium Project, and fund low-carbon titanium R&D, according to the company. Cantor Fitzgerald led, with Roth Capital Partners and B. Riley Securities co-managing.
