Sweden to buy HIMARS rocket artillery for around $730 million

The Australian government awarded Lockheed Martin Australia a $1.32 billion contract for Air 6500, a joint air battle management system. The $2.4 billion investment aims to modernize air and missile defense capabilities over six years, integrating systems like F-35A aircraft and Hobart-class destroyers. Lockheed Martin will partner with Australian industry to enhance core architecture and cybersecurity.

L3Harris Technologies received a $4.7B contract from Lockheed Martin over seven years to produce propulsion systems for the PAC-3 MSE interceptor. The deal supports large-scale production of advanced rocket motors and control systems, with L3Harris expanding production capacity to meet wartime needs. The company is also building new facilities in Arkansas to support this effort, expected to be operational by 2027.

Lockheed Martin, partnering with Tata Advanced Systems Limited, is offering to co-develop a 5th-generation Javelin anti-tank guided missile with India, tailored to the Indian Army's needs. The new variant may include advanced features like sensor fusion and multiple targeting modes. Meanwhile, India's DRDO is also developing its own soldier-fired ATGM.

Lockheed Martin (LMT) rose 2.42% after UBS upgraded it to Buy, raising its price target to $674. UBS forecasts 150% revenue growth in the missiles segment by 2030 and 9% CAGR through 2028, citing defense demand. The stock trades at a 15% discount to the S&P 500.
