Chesapeake Gold Corp.: Chesapeake Announces Proprietary Heap Oxidation Technology Updates

Blackstone Life Sciences (BX) and Boston Scientific (BSX) are collaborating on a $455M project to develop the VITALYST heart pump system. This is the first co-funding deal between the two companies. Genentech/Roche's investigational drug divarasib showed improved overall survival and progression-free survival in KRAS G12C-mutated NSCLC patients compared to standard treatments sotorasib (Amgen) and adagrasib (Bristol Myers Squibb). The phase 3 Krascendo 1 trial results, presented at ESMO Congress, indicated a 44% lower risk of death with divarasib, along with fewer severe adverse effects.

Recursion (RXRX) reported positive Phase 2 data for REC-4881, an oral MEK1/2 inhibitor for familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). Cerus Corporation reported that its INTERCEPT Red Blood Cells (RBCs) met the primary efficacy endpoint in a Phase 3 trial, showing non-inferiority to conventional RBCs in adjusted hemoglobin increment. The study also met primary safety endpoints, with no significant differences in treatment-emergent adverse events between the treatment and control arms. Cerus plans to submit full study results for peer-reviewed publication and presentation at scientific meetings.

Tiziana Life Sciences (TLS) fell 13% on Monday despite phase 2a results for intranasal foralumab meeting dual primary endpoints in non-active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. The 50 μg dose showed significant neuroinflammation reduction vs. placebo, while the 100 μg dose did not. Both doses were well-tolerated, and MFIS scores improved in treatment arms.
