Deutsche Telekom outlines AI‑driven revenue boost and €2.5 bn cost savings by 2030

Deutsche Telekom said its AI Investor Day will detail plans to generate AI‑related revenue of about €250 million outside the U.S. in 2026, rising to roughly €800 million by 2030. The group also targets gross cost savings of around €1.1 billion in 2027 and €2.5 billion by 2030 through AI and automation. AI is already used in customer service, network operations and administrative processes, and the company reaffirmed its existing financial outlook.

The company expects the AI‑driven savings to lift operating margins, while the new revenue streams add to top‑line growth, but it does not change its current guidance. Investors should watch how the announced cost‑reduction targets affect future earnings.
