Novocure and Verastem launch joint pancreatic cancer trial with TTFields and KRAS inhibitor

Novocure (NVCR) and Verastem Oncology (VSTM) have signed a collaboration and supply agreement to test Tumor Treating Fields therapy together with chemotherapy and Verastem’s oral KRAS G12D inhibitor VS‑7375 in locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The trial will enroll about 25 patients and is slated to begin enrolling in 2027. Novocure will fund and manage the study while Verastem will provide the investigational drug.

The companies say the combination could create a new treatment option for a cancer with very low survival rates, potentially expanding Novocure’s pipeline and future revenue streams. The agreement also adds a development partner for Verastem’s KRAS inhibitor, which may accelerate its clinical progress.
