Boeing white‑collar union ratifies four‑year contract, averting strike

The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) representing about 17,000 Boeing workers approved a new four‑year contract. The agreement provides a guaranteed 10% wage increase, 4% annual raises and a possible 2% performance‑based hike. Approximately 68% of the professional unit and just over 53% of the technical unit voted in favor, ending strike concerns that could have delayed certification of the 737 MAX 10 and 777X jets.

The ratification removes the risk of a work stoppage that would have disrupted Boeing’s production schedule and aircraft deliveries, supporting the company’s recovery plan.
