Alphabet launches second euro‑bond offering of the year

On 2 November 2026 Alphabet announced its second euro‑denominated bond sale of the year, issuing seven tranches with maturities from 2 to 19 years. Pricing guidance is about 60 basis points over mid‑swaps for the 2‑year tranche and 205‑210 basis points for the 19‑year tranche. Barclays, BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank are arranging the offering, which follows a €9 billion euro‑bond raise in May. The company kept its 2026 capital‑expenditure outlook at up to $205 billion.

The pricing will signal investor appetite for technology debt and may set the spread benchmark for other tech issuers. A wider spread could raise borrowing costs for peers, while tighter pricing would support the sector’s debt market.
