Climb Bio presents early clinical results for IgAN antibody

Climb Bio and Beijing Mabworks reported initial human-study results for CLYM116/MIL116 at Kidney Week 2026. In healthy volunteers, a dose of at least 480 mg lowered free APRIL by 90% or more at the 12-week assessment; an 800 mg dose was associated with approximately 70% lower Gd-IgA1 and approximately 60% lower IgA at that point. The NAVIGATE-2 Phase 2 study is enrolling patients, with first results expected in the first half of 2027, while a Phase 3 study is planned for 2027 subject to regulatory feedback.

The findings support testing an every-12-weeks dosing schedule and advance CLYM116/MIL116 into patient studies. Climb Bio's next clinical readout is expected in the first half of 2027, while the later-stage program remains conditional on regulatory feedback.

  • 1The complementary Australia and China studies enrolled 46 and 42 participants, respectively.
  • 2Across both studies, five of 88 participants had Grade 1 injection-site reactions, and no dose-limiting toxicities or treatment-related serious adverse events were reported.
  • 3The antibody's estimated half-life was approximately 33 days based on 800 mg and 320 mg multiple-ascending-dose data.
  • 4Climb Bio holds rights outside Greater China, while Mabworks retains rights in Greater China.
