Sigma Lithium reports Q3 preview, debt reduction and production restart

On November 2, Sigma Lithium released a preliminary unaudited third-quarter 2026 preview showing 7,293t of lithium oxide concentrate production, a 32% gross margin and a US$518/t CIF China cash cost. The company said a convertible bond extended over 90% of debt maturities, reduced short-term debt by approximately 78% from US$125M to US$28M, and lowered FY26 AISC guidance by 6% to US$668/t. Operations restarted early in the fourth quarter after a suspension, with 9,000t of high-grade concentrate produced through October 30, while production guidance remained 240kt over the next 12 months and 330kt in FY27.

The update mechanically lowers Sigma Lithium's short-term debt and FY26 cost guidance while confirming that production has resumed. Sigma said the financing is expected to support its production ramp-up and operating cash flow.
