OpenWorld agrees to acquire AI agent developer Blocksight

OpenWorld signed an agreement on October 18, 2026 to acquire Blocksight Holdings, whose software automates workflows for tokenized real-world assets. OpenWorld plans to incorporate the technology into OpenWorld Enterprise and has separately outlined potential financing activity totaling up to $1.13 billion through proposed arrangements with BeyondAI and Meridian. The acquisition remains subject to closing conditions, while both financing arrangements are non-binding.

If completed, the acquisition would give OpenWorld software to automate asset checks, investor onboarding, reporting and servicing within its tokenization platform. The BeyondAI and Meridian proposals do not yet assure financing volume because they remain subject to diligence, documentation and other conditions.

  • 1OpenWorld agreed to acquire Blocksight Holdings, with co-founders Patrick Kim and Peter Hong expected to join OpenWorld after completion.
  • 2The proposed BeyondAI transaction could reach $130 million and would be backed by intellectual property such as patents and software rights.
  • 3The proposed Meridian financing could reach $1 billion and is intended to support an AI computing network using solar generation and residential battery storage.
  • 4OpenWorld said the two proposed financing arrangements together could involve up to $1.13 billion.
  • 5Blocksight’s software is intended to support deal formation, asset-data checks, investor onboarding, daily updates and continuing investment administration, with people retaining approval over key decisions.
  • 6The acquisition is conditional on customary closing requirements, while the BeyondAI and Meridian arrangements remain subject to diligence, definitive documents and applicable conditions.
