Agility Robotics to go public through a merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI

Agility Robotics, the developer of the Digit humanoid robot, will become a public company by merging with the SPAC Churchill Capital Corp XI. The SEC has declared the joint registration statement effective and a shareholder vote is set for November 2, 2026, with closing expected in November. The transaction will raise roughly $620 million, including about $424 million from the SPAC’s trust and around $200 million from a PIPE led by Foxconn, and the combined entity will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker AGLT.

The merger will give Agility access to capital to scale production of its Digit 5 robot and fulfill over $300 million of committed orders, potentially expanding its customer base and facility deployments through 2027. Investors holding CCXI shares will convert to shares of the new public company once the business combination is approved.
