Genmab reports high objective response rates for petosemtamab in Phase 2 colorectal cancer trial

Genmab A/S announced updated Phase 2 data for petosemtamab combined with chemotherapy in metastatic colorectal cancer. The trial of 79 patients showed a 75% objective response rate (ORR) in first‑line and 67% in second‑line patients, with an 81% ORR in first‑line left‑sided tumors. Disease control rates were 95% and 93% respectively, and the results were presented at the ESMO 2026 Congress.

The company says the data support its ongoing four Phase 3 programs and signal a shift into late‑stage gastrointestinal oncology, which could improve future revenue potential. Investors may view the strong response rates as a catalyst for the upcoming Phase 3 trials.
