Optimi Health finishes GMP MDMA batch for Canadian Phase‑3 trial, Australian export and Israeli study

Optimi Health Corp. announced that it has produced a GMP‑compliant batch of MDMA capsules at its Princeton, British Columbia facility. The batch will support a proposed Phase 3 PTSD trial in Canada, a commercial shipment to Australia, and a clinical trial in Israel. The Canadian trial is planned to start in 2027 and could enroll up to 100 participants. Optimi holds the necessary Australian import permits and has secured approval for the Israeli trial, but the products are not yet authorized by Health Canada.

The completed batch positions Optimi to begin patient enrollment in the Canadian Phase 3 study and to start commercial exports to Australia, which could generate future revenue if the trials succeed. However, the lack of Health Canada market authorization means no sales can occur in Canada until approval is obtained.
