PayPal lifts full‑year non‑GAAP EPS guidance after Q3 results

PayPal reported third‑quarter earnings of $1.45 per share and revenue of $8.6 billion, a 2% increase year over year. Net income fell 14% to $1.07 billion, while active accounts rose 0.6% to 440 million. The company raised its full‑year non‑GAAP EPS outlook to $5.60, up from $5.38, and announced a cash dividend of $0.14 per share. CEO Enrique Lores said the firm is seeing its transformation strategy translate into financial results.

The higher full‑year guidance suggests stronger profitability expectations, which could support the stock price. The new dividend provides an additional return to shareholders.
