Rogers completes buyout of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment

On Oct. 01, 2026, Rogers Communications completed its purchase of Kilmer Sports Inc.'s remaining stake in Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment for C$4.35 billion, taking ownership to 100%. Rogers said it will place MLSE, the Toronto Blue Jays and its wider media and entertainment operations within a new Rogers Sports business unit.
