USITC launches Section 337 probe into Vicor patent on vertical power delivery modules

The United States International Trade Commission formally opened Investigation No. 337‑TA‑1526 on 9 Oct 2026 after Vicor Corp. filed a Section 337 complaint alleging infringement of U.S. Patent 10,903,734. The complaint names 20 respondents, including Luxshare Precision, Foxconn (Hon Hai), Delta Electronics, Infineon, Flex, Celestica, Quanta and Monolithic Power Systems. Vicor is requesting a limited exclusion order and cease‑and‑desist orders against the imported products.

If the ITC issues an exclusion order, the listed companies could be barred from importing the contested VPD modules into the United States, potentially disrupting the AI‑server power‑supply supply chain and affecting Vicor’s IP‑monetisation strategy.
