Black Hills and NorthWestern set proposed Bright Horizon Energy identity

Black Hills Corp. and NorthWestern Energy announced that their combined company would be called Bright Horizon Energy Corporation if the merger closes. The Montana Public Service Commission is expected to review the transaction before Nov. 12, 2026, and final approval remains required.

The planned name and symbol change would take effect only after the merger closes, while BKH and NWE continue trading under their existing symbols during the review. No shareholder action is required for the proposed change.
