Digi Power X secures $200 million debt commitment for 40 MW Alabama AI data center

Digi Power X Inc. received a $200 million debt financing commitment, syndicated by Goldman Sachs, to fund its 40 MW AI data center in Columbiana, Alabama. The loan is structured at a project SPV level with an unsecured company guarantee and is expected to close within 90 days, subject to due‑diligence. Construction is on schedule, with Phase 1 slated for completion in December 2026 and Phase 2 in March 2027. The company said the proceeds will preserve liquidity, limit shareholder dilution and enable further customer contracts.

The financing provides the cash needed to finish the Alabama campus, reducing the need for equity raises and limiting dilution for shareholders (the company said). Completion of the data center will allow Digi Power X to start generating revenue from its GPU bare‑metal services.
