Lindsay posts fourth-quarter earnings beat and agrees to acquire Brazilian irrigation maker

Lindsay reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $161.6M and non-GAAP EPS of $1.10, above expectations. North American irrigation revenue increased 11%, infrastructure revenue rose 13%, and operating income increased 39% to $15.8 million. Fiscal-year revenue fell 6% to $635.9M, while Lindsay signed an agreement to acquire Brazilian hose-reel irrigation equipment maker Setorial Irrigação.

The company expects no large MENA project awards to begin delivery in fiscal 2027, which may limit near-term growth from that region. The Setorial transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, while management expects the restructuring to generate annual savings.
