Teledyne FLIR Defense secures $48 million US Army contract to upgrade Bulgarian Stryker vehicles with CBRN sensors

Teledyne FLIR Defense, a unit of Teledyne Technologies, was awarded a $48 million contract by the U.S. Army to equip ten of Bulgaria’s Stryker armored vehicles with nuclear, biological, radiological and chemical (CBRN) reconnaissance sensor suites. The work, which began delivering to U.S. Army units in 2025, will continue through 2028 at Teledyne facilities. The award follows a $32 million January contract for thermal imaging and radar systems and brings the company’s total sensor‑suite contracts for the program to more than $240 million since 2024.

The contract lifts Teledyne’s revenue pipeline and has already driven its share price higher, with a 3.32% gain over five days and a price‑target increase to $775 by Needham. Investors may see the deal as a catalyst for further defense‑sector growth.
