Renasant agrees to acquire Commercial Holding in $142 million stock deal

Renasant Corporation and Commercial Holding Company announced a merger agreement on October 27, 2026, under which Commercial will become part of Renasant. Commercial shareholders will receive 0.8798 Renasant shares for each Commercial share, representing approximately 2.64 million Renasant shares, plus a special cash dividend of approximately $35.7 million before completion. The transaction is valued at approximately $142 million and is targeted for the first quarter of 2027 after required regulatory clearances and a Commercial shareholder vote.
