Regeneron adds $270 million to BARDA Ebola treatment supply contract through 2031

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals announced an extension of its agreement with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to provide additional doses of its FDA‑approved Ebola therapy Inmazeb. The amendment adds roughly $270 million in value to the original 2020 procurement deal and extends deliveries to the U.S. government through 2031. The company also said it is advancing maftivimab, a component of Inmazeb, in a WHO‑sponsored trial for Bundibugyo virus in the DRC.

The extension will generate about $270 million in payments to Regeneron, bolstering its government‑contract revenue stream. It also secures a continued supply of Inmazeb for U.S. emergency stockpiles, supporting the company's role in Ebola preparedness.
