Skyworks completes merger with Qorvo, creating a larger RF semiconductor company

Skyworks Solutions announced the closing of its merger with Qorvo on Oct. 5, 2026. Qorvo shareholders received $32.50 in cash and 0.960 Skyworks shares for each Qorvo share, giving legacy Skyworks owners about 63% of the combined firm and Qorvo owners about 37%. The combined entity will operate under the Skyworks name and ticker SWKS and expects at least $500 million of annual cost synergies within 24‑36 months, with immediate non‑GAAP EPS accretion.

The company says the deal is immediately accretive to non‑GAAP earnings and will generate $500 million‑plus in annual cost savings, which should boost profitability and cash flow for shareholders. Qorvo shareholders now hold cash and Skyworks stock, and the QRVO ticker will be retired, affecting any positions tied to that symbol.
