Dr. Reddy's plans November 2026 semaglutide relaunch and reiterates 6‑7 million device target

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories said it will relaunch its generic semaglutide in November 2026, with most of the supply destined for Canada and additional volumes for Latin America and Africa. Management reaffirmed its fiscal‑year target of 6 million to 7 million devices and cited an estimated run‑rate of 12 million to 15 million pens for the 12‑month period starting in April. The company reported a 1.5% year‑over‑year revenue decline to INR 8,671 crore and an EBITDA margin of 20.6% for Q2 FY 27, while North America generics revenue fell 29% YoY to $264 million. It also disclosed FDA approval of a rituximab biosimilar and the launch of nivolumab in India.

The semaglutide relaunch could open a new revenue stream in Canada and emerging markets, which the company expects to support its device target (the company expects). The Q2 revenue decline and lower North America generics sales signal short‑term pressure on earnings (the company reported).
