Accenture completes acquisition of Danish software firm Mjølner Informatics

Accenture announced on October 5, 2026 that it has closed its purchase of Mjølner Informatics, a Denmark‑based provider of digital solutions for energy, utilities and manufacturing. The deal brings roughly 400 Mjølner specialists into Accenture’s workforce and deepens its software engineering capabilities in the region. The acquisition follows a strategic partnership with Norlys, the seller, and was completed after all regulatory approvals were obtained.

Accenture says the addition of about 400 professionals will strengthen its market position in energy, utilities and manufacturing sectors and supports its forecast of 3–6% revenue growth for fiscal 2027. The deal also expands the firm’s service offering in Denmark, a key European market.
