Invivyd starts Phase 2 study of VYD2311 in Long COVID

Invivyd and the SPEAR Study Group began the FLINTLOCK Phase 2 study on October 14, 2026, testing VYD2311 in adults with Long COVID or Post-Vaccination Syndrome. The randomized trial will compare three administrations of the antibody with placebo and monitor participants for 90 days. The company expects initial results in mid-2027.

The trial gives Invivyd a clinical path to evaluate VYD2311 as a treatment for two post-COVID conditions. Results expected in mid-2027 could provide the next material development milestone for the program, although the candidate remains investigational for these uses.

  • 1FLINTLOCK is designed for adults aged 18-65 with Long COVID or Post-Vaccination Syndrome.
  • 2The study plans an initial intravenous dose followed by intramuscular injections on days 30 and 60.
  • 3The trial’s total treatment exposure is targeted at 10 times the prophylactic dose evaluated in other VYD2311 studies.
  • 4Approximately 130 participants are expected to take part in the study.
  • 5Invivyd expects the first FLINTLOCK data in mid-2027.
