HUTCHMED closes exclusive global license with GSK for KRAS‑EGFR antibody‑drug conjugate

HUTCHMED Limited completed a licensing agreement with a GSK subsidiary that gives GSK worldwide rights, except for Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, to develop and commercialize the KRAS‑EGFR antibody‑drug conjugate HMPL‑A830. The deal provides HUTCHMED with an upfront cash payment of $110 million and the possibility of further milestone payments that could total up to $1.185 billion. HUTCHMED will run the Phase I portion of the global trial, while GSK will take over all later development and marketing activities in its territories.
