ArriVent BioPharma reports 44.8% response rate for ADC ARR‑217 in colorectal cancer Phase 1 study

ArriVent BioPharma announced Phase 1 data for its cadherin‑17‑targeting ADC ARR‑217 in heavily pre‑treated colorectal cancer patients. At a 6 mg/kg dose the objective response rate was 44.8% (13 of 29 patients) with a disease control rate of 93.1% (27 of 29). Lower dose levels (≥4 mg/kg) yielded a 34.2% response rate and a 91.8% disease control rate. The company will move into a Phase 1b dose‑optimization study of 5 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg, with data expected in 2027.

The company says the Phase 1b data, expected in the first half of 2027, will inform dosing and support a planned Phase III trial by the end of 2027. Strong early efficacy could reduce clinical risk and improve the valuation outlook for AVBP.

  • 144.8% (13/29) objective response rate observed at the 6 mg/kg dose in colorectal cancer patients.
  • 293.1% (27/29) disease control rate observed at the 6 mg/kg dose.
  • 334.2% (25/73) objective response rate observed at doses of 4 mg/kg and higher.
  • 491.8% disease control rate observed at doses of 4 mg/kg and higher.
  • 530.1% (37/123) of all patients experienced Grade 3 or higher treatment‑related adverse events.
  • 6Phase 1b dose‑optimization study will randomize patients between 5 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg, with data expected in 2027.
