Broadridge launches DLX platform after processing $7.5 trillion in September repo activity

Broadridge reported that its Distributed Ledger Repo (DLR) platform settled $7.5 trillion of transactions in September 2026, with an average daily volume of $359 billion. The firm introduced DLX, a new end‑to‑end tokenization and digital‑asset infrastructure that extends capabilities beyond securities financing to issuance, trading, settlement, custody and governance. Horacio Barakat, global head of digital innovation, said the launch builds on DLR’s proven scale to let institutions integrate tokenized assets without separate systems.

Broadridge’s analyst at RBC Capital Markets, Ashish Sabadra, noted that the DLX rollout could strengthen the company’s position as a bridge between traditional and tokenized markets, potentially driving incremental revenue from digital‑asset services. The platform also supports upcoming DTCC tokenization services and regulatory‑approved tokenized‑securities trading, which may accelerate institutional adoption.
