Skydance warrants begin trading as shares fall 16%

Skydance distributed warrants to eligible Class B shareholders on October 13, with each warrant initially exercisable for one share at $12.00. The warrants began trading separately the next day, and Skydance shares fell 16% as the stock began trading without the warrant entitlement. The distribution followed Skydance's October 9 issuance of $11.98 billion of U.S. dollar senior secured second-lien notes and €546.5 million of euro-denominated notes.

The common stock and warrants now trade separately, so new buyers no longer receive the distributed warrant entitlement. Exercise could increase Skydance's share count, while the new notes add secured debt to the post-acquisition capital structure.
