Trane Technologies to acquire heat‑transfer specialist Cancoil

Trane Technologies announced a definitive agreement to purchase Cancoil Thermal Corporation, a North American maker of fluid coolers, condensers and custom finned‑tube coils. The acquisition includes Cancoil’s plants in Ontario, Canada and Jacksonville, Texas and its workforce of more than 450 staff. Chief Operating Officer Donny Simmons said the deal will add critical manufacturing capability and deepen Trane’s thermal‑management expertise. The closing is planned for year‑end, subject to normal closing conditions and regulator approval, with no financial terms disclosed.

The purchase expands Trane’s product portfolio and supply‑chain resilience, potentially improving its competitive position in climate‑control markets. Investors should note that the deal does not alter the capital structure immediately, but future integration could affect earnings.
