Core Scientific posts Q3 revenue beat, strong AI colocation growth and earnings surprise

Core Scientific reported third‑quarter 2026 revenue of $232.87 million, well above analysts' $193 million estimate. GAAP earnings per share were $0.47, while adjusted earnings per share were $3.42, both beating forecasts. AI‑focused colocation revenue rose to $215.4 million, representing about 92% of total revenue. The company said its first major colocation contract is nearing full delivery, but the stock fell more than 6% in morning trade.

The revenue and earnings beats signal strong demand for the company's AI colocation services, which could support future cash flow growth. However, the share price decline suggests investors may be concerned about valuation or other risks despite the positive results.
