Lilly’s Omvoh shows one‑year disease‑control benefits in ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease

Eli Lilly reported that in the LUCENT‑2 trial 27.7% of ulcerative colitis patients treated with Omvoh achieved comprehensive disease control, versus 14% on placebo. In the VIVID‑1 trial 20.4% of Crohn’s disease patients reached corticosteroid‑free deep remission, compared with 2% on placebo. The company said the results demonstrate Omvoh’s ability to meet multiple treatment goals simultaneously, even in patients with prior biologic failure. Data will be presented at United European Gastroenterology Week 2026.

The company expects the new composite‑outcome data to strengthen Omvoh’s market positioning and may boost future sales in the inflammatory‑bowel‑disease franchise (Lilly statement,). Analysts note that the efficacy signals could support higher pricing or expanded indications (Seeking Alpha note,).
