Oculis schedules ACUITY biomarker presentation for optic neuritis

Oculis said it will disclose new biomarker analyses from the Phase 2 ACUITY study of Privosegtor at the 10th Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting in Toronto. The work examines blood measurements of NfL and GFAP in people with acute optic neuritis. Céline Louapre, the trial’s principal investigator, is scheduled to present the findings on October 22, 2026, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. EDT.

The presentation could provide investors with additional biological evidence about Privosegtor’s potential in optic neuritis, but the new findings have not yet been reported in these materials. Oculis is continuing development through its PIONEER registrational program and plans an IND filing for acute multiple sclerosis relapses.

  • 1The presentation is scheduled for October 22, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
  • 2The planned analysis covers two blood-based indicators, NfL and GFAP, linked to nerve-fiber damage and inflammation.
  • 3Céline Louapre of Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital will present the ACUITY findings during the late-breaking abstracts session.
  • 4Privosegtor has FDA Breakthrough Therapy and EMA PRIME designations, as well as Orphan Drug designations from both agencies for optic neuritis.
  • 5Oculis’s PIONEER program includes two registrational studies in optic neuritis, and PIONEER-1 is enrolling patients with acute-onset disease.
  • 6Oculis plans to file an IND for Privosegtor in acute multiple sclerosis relapses.
