ICE partners with Trade.xyz to launch US‑regulated Hyperliquid perpetual futures

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) announced a definitive agreement with Trade.xyz to create a U.S.‑regulated market for Hyperliquid‑based perpetual futures. ICE will act as the exclusive operator of the market and take a minority equity stake in Trade.xyz. The venue will offer 24/7 contracts on crypto, equities, commodities, FX and other assets, subject to CFTC approval. Trade.xyz reported more than $650 billion of cumulative trading volume on Hyperliquid.

ICE expects the new retail‑focused venue to expand its addressable market beyond its institutional futures franchise. The partnership lifted Hyperliquid’s native token HYPE by about 20% to $96.06 and drove Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR) shares up roughly 20%.
