Smith+Nephew begins European rollout of CARTIHEAL AGILI-C implant

Smith+Nephew has started commercial sales of its CARTIHEAL AGILI-C cartilage-repair implant in Europe, extending a product introduced in the United States in 2024. The aragonite-based implant is intended to support cartilage and bone repair for knee conditions. Smith+Nephew will present the product at the ICRS meeting in Porto, Portugal.

The launch opens additional European markets for Smith+Nephew's cartilage-repair portfolio. The company says it intends to extend availability beyond the initial markets.
