Conduent refinances $447 million debt, extends revolver to 2029 and adds $90 million commitments

Conduent Incorporated completed a $447 million refinancing of its revolving credit facility, pushing the maturity out to May 2029 and securing an additional $90 million of commitments from existing lenders. The transaction rolls the prior $357 million revolver into the new facility and includes a $15 million letter of credit. The company said the refinancing, together with recent business sales, will cut its surety bond and letter‑of‑credit portfolio by about $550 million and lower interest expense by roughly $10 million per year. CEO Harsha V. Agadi linked the move to the ASCEND 2026‑28 strategic plan.

The company expects to reduce annual interest costs by $10 million, improving cash flow. The $550 million reduction in surety bond and LOC needs should free up liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives.
