Samsung reports 45% rise in Galaxy Z Fold8 sales in Europe after launch

Samsung said that in the nine‑week period after the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8 were introduced, sales in Europe were 45% higher than for the previous Fold7 model sold in 2025. The company linked the jump to a surge in consumer interest sparked by Apple’s recent iPhone Duo unveiling, noting that Google searches for Samsung foldables in major European markets rose more than 260% in September, with a 460% spike during the week of Sept. 6‑12.

The company expects the stronger demand to boost its European revenue stream in the coming quarters, according to Samsung’s own commentary.
