IES Holdings closes DBM Global acquisition for approximately $691 million

IES Holdings completed its purchase of all DBM Global common stock on October 5, 2026, for total consideration of approximately $691 million. The deal combines approximately $545 million in cash with 430,974 IES common shares, and DBM Global becomes IES's Structural business line. INNOVATE sold its approximately 91.2% DBM Global stake as part of the transaction.

The transaction adds DBM Global's structural steel fabrication, erection and engineering operations to IES. IES says cash generation from both businesses is expected to support a quick reduction in acquisition borrowings while it continues investing and pursuing other opportunities.
