Cameco renews at‑the‑market share program for up to $1 billion

Cameco Corporation filed a prospectus supplement to renew its at‑the‑market (ATM) offering, permitting the sale of up to US$1 billion of common shares. The program runs until 5 December 2029 and will be executed at prevailing market prices on the Toronto or New York exchanges. The company also maintains a shelf prospectus that authorises up to US$3 billion of securities offerings over the next 37 months. Proceeds are intended for development projects, acquisitions, debt repayment and other corporate purposes.

The renewed ATM program gives Cameco flexibility to raise capital, which could dilute existing shareholders if shares are issued. Investors should watch for any drawdowns that might affect the company’s balance sheet and share price.
