T1 Energy signs 1.58 GW of TOPCon solar module supply contracts

T1 Energy announced that it has signed offtake agreements for more than 1.58 GW of advanced TOPCon solar modules, to be delivered from its G1_Dallas plant in 2027‑2028. The modules will use a mix of imported cells and domestically produced cells from the under‑construction G2_Austin fab. The company now has over 4 GW of its 2027 manufacturing capacity committed under contract. T1’s CEO Dan Barcelo highlighted the need for high‑efficiency modules for U.S. AI and grid infrastructure.

The contracts lock in demand for T1’s 2027‑2028 production, providing a revenue pipeline that utilizes the newly built domestic cell capacity. Investors can expect the company’s utilization rate to rise as the G2_Austin phase‑1 cells become available in Q1 2027.
