Ares raises $4.2 billion for inaugural Global Structured Solutions fund

Ares Management announced the final close of its inaugural Global Structured Solutions fund with about $4.2 billion of capital, far surpassing the original $1 billion target. The fund will be managed by the Ares Private Equity Secondaries team and will provide flexible capital to general partners for commitments, new strategies and succession planning. Since 2013 the firm has deployed nearly $9 billion in structured‑solutions transactions. Ares’ Secondaries platform held $44 billion of assets and the broader firm managed $671 billion as of June 30 2026.

Ares says the new pool expands its ability to partner with a broader set of managers, which should generate additional fee income for the firm (company statement). The larger capital base also gives limited partners more tailored financing options in private markets.
