OpenWorld completes merger with VerifyMe, adopts new ticker and targets dual listing

OpenWorld Inc. and VerifyMe Inc. finished their business combination on October 1, 2026. The merged company will begin trading on Nasdaq under the symbol OPNW and plans a secondary listing on Figure OPEN by November 2026. Matthew Shaw has been appointed chairman and chief executive officer, and Maxim Group serves as the exclusive financial advisor.

The company says the combination expands its real‑world asset tokenization platform and should create additional value for shareholders. Existing VRME shareholders will see their shares re‑listed under the OPNW ticker, which may affect trading and liquidity.
