iRhythm completes $237.5 M acquisition of VitalConnect, adding multi‑vitals monitoring

iRhythm Holdings announced that it has closed its purchase of VitalConnect, a wearable biosensor firm. The transaction consists of $237.5 million in cash, up to 423,334 iRhythm shares and a $10.0 million working‑capital contribution. The combined company expects the deal to accelerate revenue growth beginning in 2027 while keeping an adjusted EBITDA margin of 15% for that year.

The company says the acquisition will broaden its cardiac monitoring portfolio and expand its addressable market across inpatient, remote and hospital‑to‑home settings, which should lift revenue growth from 2027 onward. Maintaining the 15% adjusted EBITDA margin target signals that profitability expectations remain unchanged despite the added scale.
