Gerdau posts 40% jump in adjusted profit and declares R$0.34 dividend

Brazil steelmaker Gerdau reported adjusted net income of R$1.52 billion for Q3 2026, a 39.7% increase year‑over‑year, while net sales rose 3.9% to R$18.69 billion. Adjusted EBITDA reached R$3.8 billion, up 10% from the prior quarter, with a 20.2% margin and North America contributing more than 76% of EBITDA. The board approved a cash dividend of R$0.34 per share, totaling R$667.0 million, payable on 15 December 2026. Capital expenditures in the quarter were R$955 million, representing 66% of the full‑year 2026 guidance.

The dividend payout provides a cash return to shareholders in December, while the strong earnings growth and higher EBITDA margin signal improved operating performance that could support the ADR price (GGB).
