Bitdeer Technologies Group (BTDR) said its Tydal Data Center subsidiary in Norway signed a 16-year colocation lease and services deal with Volta Tydal AS for 121 MW and about $4.70 billion in contracted revenue, with an 8-year renewal option that could raise total value to about $8.0 billion. The campus is renewable-powered, set for NVIDIA GPU clusters, and includes $1.30 billion in credit support.

Core Scientific (CORZ) said it signed a 15-year infrastructure partnership with AMD (AMD) for data-center power starting in 2027. The deal covers about 530 MW across five sites, with AMD leasing 377 MW and a neocloud leasing 152 MW. Core Scientific said it has $14B+ potential base contracted revenue. The news follows shareholders rejecting a CoreWeave all-stock deal valued around $9B.

Reuters explains the U.S. Patriot mobile air defense system, built by Raytheon Technologies, and its PAC-2 and PAC-3 interceptor variants. Demand has risen as Russia’s strikes in Ukraine and the Middle East conflict have depleted interceptor stocks. CSIS estimates about 65% of U.S. interceptors were used Feb-July, leaving under 850. Lockheed received a contract up to $58.6B.

UnitedHealth Group (UNH) said it will commit $4 million via the United Health Foundation to expand the University of Tennessee Health Sciences health hub network from 5 to 13 sites by end-2027, reaching about 200,000 residents. The company reported Q2 revenue of $112B and adjusted EPS of $6.38, raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $19.50-$20.

The Wall Street Journal reported Apple is testing memory chips from China’s CXMT across iPhones and MacBooks and has held early talks to supply components for some China-sold devices. Apple is seeking White House approval amid “unsustainable” pricing from SK Hynix, Samsung, Micron and SanDisk. US rules limit customization, but off-the-shelf purchases may be allowed.

AstraZeneca and CSPC Pharmaceutical Group signed a contract to form a joint venture to build a new-generation biologics manufacturing facility in Shijiazhuang, China. The JV will be capitalized 51% by CSPC and 49% by AstraZeneca, subject to regulatory approvals. It will initially make and supply biologics drug substances for global markets.
