Amcor is focusing on reusable packaging solutions to meet the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) targets, which require 10% of beverages to be in reusable packaging by 2030 and 40% by 2040. The company supports customers with closure solutions and technical expertise for reusable PET and glass bottles, aiming to help them adapt to deposit return schemes and reuse systems.

Amcor (NYSE: AMCR, ASX: AMC) said it installed automated manufacturing lines and vision inspection systems for healthcare bag production at its Mundelein, Illinois facility. The systems inspect 100% of bags and serialize production for traceability.
