Shares edge higher despite sell-off in chip stocks
European stocks edged higher despite a global sell-off in semiconductors. Ireland’s Iseq rose 0.3% on light volume. Kerry Group gained over 3% ahead of half-year results; Unilever jumped nearly 9% after raising annual guidance. In the US, the Nasdaq recovered after tech entered correction; Micron, Nvidia, Intel, TSMC and SK Hynix fell.
